Another busy week

On Monday my sister Ang and her two boys, my Mom and I headed to North Ogden to pick apricots. We picked and picked and got tons.

This is what my Mom and I brought home. My sister took home about the same amount.
So for the last two days we have been cooking and canning. It was a lot of work, very messy, and really hot, but it was all worth it.

We got 140 qts of apricot juice so far, some jam and we aren't done yet but have to be for a few days while my Mom goes out of town. This apricot juice is the best stuff ever.

Last week we headed up to Island Park to see our friends that were here from out of town. It was so much fun to catch up with them. THis is Lindsay and Nathan's little boy Beckett. He is a cutie.

Saylor loves us to read to her. She only likes some books though. She won't sit still if they are ones she doesn't like. She happens to love this one (thanks Mamaw). She loves when we make the animal noises to her, especially ducks (their her fav), dogs and cats. She now loves the monkey after we saw them at the zoo.

Last week I also went to the zoo with some of my sisters and their kids. This is Saylor and her cousins Jeter and Brientz.

These monkey's kept coming right up to the window and showing off. It was hilarious and Saylor loved it until they came right up and kept banging on the window. Then she didn't like them quite as much and it scared her.
