So this post is a huge one, but oh well. We finally have a normal looking blog as well. I realize it was really ugly, but never took the time to figure out how to make it look cute, so Zach did then showed me how. Thanks Zachary. So Saylor LOVES to climb and go through everything that she can. She tries to go through any space that she sees, the side of the fridge has a 4 inch gap and she tries to shove herself in there. This is another thing she was trying to go through. It didn't work out that well for her.

I have been putting her hair in pigtails the last few days and it is so dang cute, but the only way to make it stay in is to hairspray it like crazy (gross I know) because some of her hairs are still really short, so when I take them out, she has quite the hairdo. She also loves strings and anything that she can pull along with her, like my tape measure.

The cute pigtails.

The crazy hair after. She is also sick right now, so she is lookin pretty rough in some of these pictures (like this one).

We went to Utah for Thanksgiving and celebrated with most of my family. It was so much fun. We ate tons of food, laughed lots, ate lots more, played games, went to Temple Square to see the lights, and went rollerskating. Yep, rollerskating. It was awesome and so much fun. Hopefully we burned off some of the food we ate because it was a lot more work than I remember. This is on the backside of the reflection pool. THere were a million people there that night, so we didn't get a picture on the other side. It was freezing that night as well.

Us at the top of the Joseph Smith building. (Not the cutest picture)

So rollerskating was tons of fun, but I couldn't really remember what I was doing for a little while. I haven't skated since I was little, and the last few years of skatin, I rollerbladed so the whole skate thing was kinda scary at first. I couldn't stop or turn. The place we went to was awesome for families because they let skooters and strollers on, so the little kids that couldn't skate, rode their skooters and my Mom and sister in law pushed the babies around. The babies loved it. Saylor danced to the music and watched everyone the whole time. This was us doin the train. They even had the snowball. It was so cute, my nephew came and held his hand out and asked me if I wanted to dance (so cute). He was on a skooter and so I pulled him around, then he went and asked my neice.

The whole gang at the rollerskating rink. We were all sweaty and stinky by this time. We were all sweating, we skated for over 2 hours. Don't worry, after a little bit, I was turnin and stoppin and flying around with everyone else :)

Saylor, Thanksgiving day.

Our little fam at the rollerskating rink.

Zach loved it as well. Him, my brothers and bro in-law were flying around the whole time, if you can imagine, since Zach doesn't really do anything to slow. So when we pulled up to the skating rink, Zach got excited because he had been here before in his college days (before I met him) and the night they were there was "bling" night and he got a sweet money symbol necklace with diamonds. He still has the necklace and I have heard about this a bunch of times so it was fun to finally see it.

Some of us before we started skating. (yes all of us do have our hair the same, not really on purpose, we all came out from getting ready that way and none of us cared to change it or had time)

We played a bunch of strategy games one night. I am the worst at these. Zach had to tell me almost all of the answers.

Zach and my brother in law Josh carving the turkey. We had so much food and it was all so dang good. We also made home made chocolates and dipped them and went shopping. None of us got up and did the 4 am thing, more like 6 or 7. We had a blast, thanks to Ang and Josh for letting us crash your house again.
Jete does the same thing, tries to get into every little crack there is, and then whines to us cuz he's stuck. Haha, the goods. He loved the pic you sent on the phone of Saylor. He kept carrying it around kissing her, and freaked when i would try and take it away from him. It will be fun to have them be able to play together. I can't really wait! And once again, the pics of Thanksgiving look so fun, i wish i could have been there!
ReplyDeleteNow that Thanksgiving is done we can actually be excited for Christmas and not seem like such weirdos. Wish we were still neighbs. Matt and I stare at each other all day and wonder what in the world we should do!
ReplyDeleteCute post Jean! When do you go to Rexburg, soon right?
ReplyDeleteMatt DID get the job! Pretty rad I have to say...he starts Monday. Molls is loving being back and we are glad to have our normal girl back...it makes up for the thousands of dollars lost moving so many freakin times in one month!
ReplyDeleteOh Guys she is so cute. I hope you guys have a Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHey Jean, hope you're having a fun time in Rexburg. We wish we were there as always. Saylor gets cuter by the second. I've heard that that you're at Green Canyon right now. Fun times. I'd be crying except that I got three packages in the mail today and so that makes up for it a bit. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, I can't believe how much you look like Hol. Your little Saylor is supper cute. It seems like forever since I've seen any of the Fuller clan.
