Saylor's 3rd Birthday

Happy Birthday Saylor! (It was on the 11th) This is her cake, sweet I know, but she I did make her cupcakes on her actual birthday and she loved it because she got to help decorate them and they were pink. Its a pumpkin cake roll. This wasn't even her actual birthday, it was a few days later. We went to Zach's grandparents and had cake with a bunch of family (Zach's parents were here from Pennsylvania).
A sweet picture of Say and Casha on her birthday.

Say loves her and wants to hold her all the time. I think sometimes she doesn't love her as well though, since she took over her world, but she is very sweet with her. She talks to her all the time and its always in this very high pitched voice.
I was a lame mom and didn't plan anything for her birthday, so the night before I called a few of my friends and asked them if they wanted to meet us at the park to play and have cupcakes. We got to the park and it was pretty windy and I didn't want to take Casha out in it, so we went back to our house and let them play and eat. I forgot to take pictures of her with her friends, but she loved having them over and told everyone that she got to have friends over for her birthday. This is her opening presents from her friends.
We gave her these alphabet magnets. I wanted to give them to her for Christmas last year and never did, so I decided to get them for her birthday this year :)

Opening her other gift from us. All she really cared about was presents. She kept asking for them all day.
Saylor playing her Elefun game. She loves this game and its one she can play on her own :)
A few things about Say right now:
  • She loves her big bed and playing on it and under the covers.
  • She loves all princess things.
  • She loves playing outside and on her swings.
  • She is a good big sister (most of the time).
  • She has been pretty naughty and doesn't listen very well lately :)
  • She loves playing on Zach's itouch.
  • She still loves seeing and being with all of her Grandparents.
  • She loves going to the store and wakes up almost every morning and asks where we are going.
  • Loves going to "class" at church.
  • Loves playing with her friends.
  • She always wants to play "games"
  • Loves candy and treats and loves breads and rolls even more (especially cinnamon rolls)
  • Loves to carry around little things (phone, mini books, purses filled with all sorts of little things) she becomes obsessed with a few small things and has to carry them around and everywhere we go for a few days, then she moves on to some new things.
  • Loves to draw, paint and color or use any of my scrapbooking things.
  • Loves to watch movies (Barbie, Annie, Frosty the Snowman, Santa is coming to Town, Princess and the Frog, Snow White, Tarzan).
  • Still loves sleeping with her pink blanket and her dog Tudi and a little rabbit she got when she was like 5 months old from Bird.
  • Is afraid of being in a dark room by herself, and is afraid of shadows at night, yet she loves turning off all the lights in our house and tries to every single night. Its like a love/hate relationship, it fascinates her, yet she is afraid of it.
  • Loves finding the letter S on everything and wants to play with our games that have letters in them (scrabble and a apple game).
  • Wants us to play with her at all times.
  • Plays with her babies all the time.
  • Loves looking at books and reading books.
  • Loves the holidays and gets all excited when we go into stores that have all the decorations up.
Some of the sweet things she says:
  • Perfec instead of perfect
  • When we ask her what she wants to do she says "maybe we can play checkers or something," even though she has never played checkers in her life, she got it off her fave show (Little Bear).
  • We always tell her she is crazy and she says, "no Daddy is" every time.
  • "Oh Man"
  • "What the heck"
  • "I don't care"
  • If we say something that she doesn't like or isn't very nice, she tells us and says "Mommy thats not very nice, don't say that."
  • Whenever she refers to something in the past she says it was "yesterday."

I am sure there is lots of things I am forgetting, but that is all I can think of right now. We love her like crazy and think she is so fun. She has such a fun personality and she is such a lovable little girl. We love ya Say.
