Christmas Vacation 2010

Christmas Morning. We went to Rexburg again for Christmas this year and had a great time. Most of my brothers and sisters stayed at their own homes or were at in laws this year so there weren't too many of us home. Saylor and Casha were the only grandkids there for Christmas morning.

Christmas morning, opening some of her stocking presents. Every time she sees these bandaids in the store, she asks for them, and everytime its always Zach who tells her no. He went and got some for her for Christmas :) Can you tell she just woke up? I didn't take any pictures of her note, cookies and carrots for the Santa and his reindeer, but she was so excited to write Santa a note and leave the treats for him. Then in the morning, we took her out and first thing showed her the cookies were mostly gone, except a few with bites out of them and same as the carrots. She thought it was the greatest thing ever. She kept going back and looking at them and saying "look, Santa came and ate the cookies," with a big grin on her face. It was so fun to see how excited she got over them.

Say with her pillow pet. On Christmas Eve I was feeling really guilty for not getting the blue dolphin pillow pet for her, I kept trying to talk her into the unicorn, but she just wasn't having it. She would tell me everytime, "yea I like the unicorn, but I want a blue dolphin pillow pet from Santa". So off to the store "Santa" went to get the blue dohpin one. She was so excited. Right when we handed the present to her, we asked her what it could be and she yelled out that it was her pillow pet so matter of factly (and it was wrapped).

Say, Casha and Zach. This is the present Saylor picked out to give Casha, a little play cell phone. Casha just woke up (about and hour and a half after the rest of us) and her face is a little swollen in this picture (her face is always swollen until the afternoon everyday).

Say opening up her "puter". It wasn't pink, but she didn't seem to notice. I wrapped it in pink wrapping paper hoping it would help and I am not sure if thats what did it, but she didn't mention it not being pink.

I got Zach a Snuggie. I know, but he kept talking about them over and over, so that is also something I picked up on Christmas Eve. He loves it.

Say got lots of books and loves them all. We have read all of them multiple times since Christmas.

Say loves this blanket that she got and her pillow pet. Not long after we were all done opening presents, we found Say like this. She wasn't going to sleep, she just wanted to be wrapped up in all her new stuff.

The day after Christmas a few more of my brothers and sisters came home, and Zach had to go back home to work. I stayed so that I could see and hang out with everyone. Ang and Josh brought Just Dance 2 for the Wii, and we decided to have a dance off competition. These are my 2 brother in laws both named Josh dancing. This game was so fun to watch, but wow I seriously hated dancing. It gave me anxiety and I wanted to die. Anyone that knows me knows I can't dance, but I thought I could handle this because it tells you what to do and you just have to follow. Well I couldn't follow it and I just hated it. Luckily I got out of dancing after one time because I had to go feed my baby (dang, I was really sad). I somehow beat my mom when I was dancing, even though I am not sure how because I couldn't even do anything it was telling me to do, but because I had to go get my kids in bed, someone else took my place :)

Zach came back to get to Rexburg on New Years Eve. Me and my sisters decided to throw together a little party. We made lots of treats and played Just Dance and Bunco, it was pretty fun and I loved watching my brother Bud dance, it was the greatest thing ever. It was the highlight of my night, thanks Bud (he did good at the game, I have just never seen him dance before and I LOVED it).

On New Years Day we headed down to Idaho Falls to stay with our friends Arch and Shantay. I forgot to get my camera out on accident, but we had a good time hanging out with them and seeing their cute new baby who is just a week and a half older than Casha.
