Saylor goes outside and...

Gets sunburned. The weather has been nice here finally. It actually got really hot (in the 80's) but it was still windy and kind of chilly one of the days. I took Saylor to my sister's track meet and had her all bundled up, but I didn't put any sunscreen on her because it was kind of chilly so I didn't think about it, and she got sunburned as you can see. I felt horrible. It doesn't look as bad here, but it was really red.
Since we had the nice weather, she got to hang out outside. She discovered the grass and she wasn't quite sure what to think about it. She kept pulling it up and then flailing her hands trying to get it off of her but it kept sticking because she is ALWAYS clammy. She had pulled tons of grass up and kept going back for more. She loves to feel and pull things, so she loved it even though she wasn't quite sure what to do with it.
She got to play outside on a blanket while Zach was helping my parents plant their garden. I was in the house watching my sisters baby. She loves being outside but tries to stare up into the sun all the time.

So I didn't take any pictures last week but it was Zach's birthday and Mothers Day. We had a barbeque with my fam and Arch and Shantay, then on Sunday the actual day of both, we went down to Clifton ( a little town about 2 hours south of here) and had a Mothers Day dinner with my Dad's side of the family. It wasn't the best Birthday in the world for Zach but I think it was alright for him.
