Another Trip

Saylor's latest. Standing up and holding on to everything. She started doing this in her crib just last night. She was in there screaming and banging on the side of her crib.
So I went on another trip this last weekend. I went back down to St. George. Zach and Saylor didn't come. I went with my Mom and two sisters. We backpacked up and into Pine Valley Mountain down there. Back in the 1920's my Grandpa Fuller (my dad's dad) carved his name into a tree and my cousins found it. For the last 3 years they have been going back and taking people to show them this. Weird to some probably, but it was an awesome experience. This is the tree that he carved his name into. We hiked in on Thursday, camped Thursday and Friday night and hiked back out on Saturday. I carved my name into a tree close to the one my Grandpa did. I did my middle name because that is what that side of the family calls me and knows me as.
Some of the cousins that were there camping.
This is a view of the town Pine Valley. This was looking down from the trail. We hiked up 3000 ft. in elevation. We ended up hiking around 20 miles in 3 days.

That's dang cool about your grandpa, maybe he knew some of Scott's relatives.

  4. I went horseback riding in Pine Valley and it is gorgeous. It was good for Zach to have some quality bonding time with his daughter. That is neat that you were able to see that tree. What a story for your family. We miss you!!
