Saylor's latest. I walked into our living room today and she was completely standing up straight on this, without holding on, looking as proud as ever. When I got out the camera she would only stand like this.

She is starting to cruise around on this now, but very SLOWLY. She's started wearing hats and loves them. SHe was wearing Zach's baseball hats all over but she would pull them down over her eyes so she couldn't see anything, then run into things and laugh, but then she ran into a drawer, so I got this hat out for her. She puts it on a million times a day and walks around.

I had to put this one in because she is so stinkin cute.

I think this has got to be one of the cutest pictures ever. She always gets her books or toys and comes and sits right here.

This is Zach and Saylor during the Super Bowl. This is about as exciting as it got around here. Zach was very sad and disappointed that we didn't get to have our big party this year. Me on the other hand, wasn't as sad because it was the most relaxing super bowl ever, I even got to take a nap that day. I made a few treats and Zach bought himself some shrimp and it was just us.

This was Saylor's first day of wearing the hat, she went up to the mirror, looked at herself and said "cool". She is starting to talk like crazy and say so many words. She is hilarious.

She has started jumping on the bed. She loves it and watches herself in the mirror as she is doing it. (we have a full length mirror opposite our bed)

She is a crazy girl. If any of you were wondering if her legs are getting smaller yet, yes, but not by much, I still can't do up half of her pants and she still has to wear lots of clothes that have a stretchy waistband.

She fell into a coffee table the other day and this is what her nose looked like after.

I've tried getting her to wear headbands since she was a baby and Zach taught her to pull them off, so she never would keep them on. Now that she has hair and I can do it, she wants to wear her headbands. She brings them to me all the time and wants me to put them on her.
Jean, I love these pictures of Saylor. It's so fun to see her doing all of her stuff. I especially love the hat ones. I love the age Saylor's at right now. Every day is a big new step is cool, cute and funny things being said and done. Love it.
ReplyDeleteShe is too cute!!! I can't wait to meet her!!! We will be moving to Boise in May. It's so crazy, I can't believe how fast the last few years have gone. But I am super excited, I can't wait. How long are you guys going to be in Boise? It will be fun to live close to each other again.
ReplyDeleteHey, what's your e-mail address? We are trying to figure out where we are going to live and I wanted to ask you some questions about your neighborhood. My mom said she talked to you and you were telling her that guys really like where you're at.
Actually,I'll give you a call sometime. What's your number?
ReplyDeleteI just read my first comment and had to laugh at the last sentence. I meant to say YOU GUYS, not just that GUYS really like where you are at. haha!!! I though that was kind of funny.
ReplyDeleteToo bad we don't live around the corner or we could have had a rad super bowl party...rats. Saylor looks so cute...love the hair!
ReplyDeleteShe has changed so much, her hair is dark! What a cutie, I love the pic of her reading. Mack is at the same stage of wearing hats, Im so glad, I love it. Its so funny to see this age...and awful at the same time!
ReplyDeleteKerr Saylor is the best! She is doing so many things!! We miss you guys being around! (Kevin says he misses your cooking)And we were sad we couldn't have a SuperBowl party with you!
ReplyDeleteJean those are darn cute pics. I love the picture of Saylor reading her book with her hat on. It is so cute!
ReplyDeleteCute pics Jean.
ReplyDeleteThose pics are way cute. She is lookin older to me. That's kinda funny that she loves to wear hats. Jete has a million of them and hates wearing them. He puts them on for about 2 seconds to go check himself out in the mirror. (He says tool[meaning cool] every time he looks in the mirror with a hat on.) After he thinks he's cool, he rips it off. By the way, her hat is stinkin cute.
ReplyDeleteSaylor is a doll! Yes, I loved the huge one! I want it!
ReplyDeleteWe have a little car like that and Heidi stands on it too. I think they think that they are being "big". I keep waiting for it to roll out from under her. Hasn't yet.
