We've got News
I'm pregnant. I am 17 weeks along and due September 26th. We are both excited and nervous. It's crazy to think that we will be a family of 4 now, and that Saylor won't be our baby anymore. She is excited too, but I don't think she really gets it yet. She always talks about the baby and puts her hand on my stomach and says she can hear it, and she always prays for the "baby in Mommy's belly" (sometimes for Daddy's baby as well). Things are going well so far. The first 6 weeks were not my favorite. Every afternoon I would get feeling sick, and it would last the whole night, and then I would wake up fine. I never threw up or anything, so I shouldn't complain, but wow it was torture. I am not sure how people that get deathly ill ever get pregnant for a 2nd or 3rd time. I don't know if I could do it. Plus I never felt like making dinner because everything sounded gross to me, so poor Zach ate nasty food for 6 weeks. In about a month we get to find out what we are having, I can't wait!

ReplyDeleteWow, Congratulations Keri! That is exciting. Wow and already so far along. I like it when people tell later. I must say though, that I am glad I am not in your shoes right now. Being pregnant is no fun.
ReplyDeleteOK. I had this strange feeling that you were prego! I dont know why I just was thinking about it a few days ago. I cant wait to find out what it is! Wahoo! Congrats! And Saylor is so cute and growing so fast, next time your up please call and come over, we need to play.

ReplyDeleteYea! Congrats Zack and Keri. That is so exciting. I totally know what you mean about a horrible first trimester. I lost 6 lbs. in my first trimester with Camille. I was sick 24-7 and throwing up every day and Logan just had to fend for himself for 2 months. Good luck and keep us updated.

ReplyDeleteCongrats You guys! You will love having two it is so much fun. The best part is watching them play together. I'm sure Saylor will love being a big sister. Hope you're feeling well...Take a sunny vacation before the baby gets here! Come play on the beach, it makes all your cares go away, promise!
ReplyDeleteYou should ask my mom about being deathly ill when pregnant and having more! She was in the hospital with Luke and Seth because she was so sick. That was definitely a worry of mine when I became prego because I am so much like her in every way. But, not that way. Thank goodness!! We are excited for you guys! Get ready for your life to change! ReplyDeleteOf course, I am reading this way way late, but congratulations just the same! I am happy for you and even though it is hard handling two children, it is so satisfying and you feel like a real 'mother' (right now you are more like a cross between a mother and a newlywed b/c you can still do so much, after you have two all former identity is lost). Do you like long-run-on sentences. I'll be coming through Boise in the next month coming and going, so I'm going to write down your info so I can stop and visit.
