So our very latest, was this Friday when we went in to the doctors to have an ultra sound and find out what gender our baby is. The baby decided we didn't need to know yet, and was sitting down in my pelvis (breech), with its legs crossed and they could not get a clear picture of any "parts." My ultra sound lasted about an hour, and 15 minutes of it was just the lady trying to get the baby to move, and come out of my pelvis so we could see anything, but the baby wasn't having any of it. The lady got one picture that could have been a girl, but she said she couldn't really tell because the legs were crossed so there could still be "more there." So in another month we will go back in and try again. The lady couldn't get a clear picture of the heart, kidneys or spine either, so we will see all of that as well.

Saylor's new favorite thing in the world. A bubble machine.

She LOVES bubbles and want us to do them all the time, but now we (Zach and I) don't have to blow them, and its the greatest thing in the whole world. Seriously, everyone should have one of these.

We went to Rexburg last weekend for Zach to hook up my parents air conditioner and while we were there, we had some fun out in the road. This is Bird pullin the sweet pose, Say and Linz.
Zach and I also took one of the days and went over to Jackson Hole and spent the night. It was a quick little get away, but we needed it and probably won't get another one for another year. We also had a little barbeque for Zach's birthday but no pics of that, sorry.

Saylor loved playing with this chalk, and loved carrying around the bucket (she has an obsession with carrying buckets, purses, baskets or anything with a handle, all over). She got covered in it as you can see.

Saylor trying to pose, while looking into the sun :) She kept looking at what everyone was drawing and then would tell them "great job, or thats pretty cute." It was real cute.

We also tried flying kites. The wind was blowing all day until we went out to fly our kites, then it would only come in gusts, so we would start running like crazy when the gusts came up.

Saylor trying to fly her princess kite. Bird bought it for her, but she had just woken up from her nap and was grouchy, so everytime her kite would fall down, she would cry. It was a little bit of torture with her, but after a little while she cheered up.

Zach had his 29th birthday on the 11th. He is getting old :) Saylor was so excited for him to have his presents. His birthday was a lame one though because he worked all day, then came home and did homework until 9:30 or 10 that night, so not too fun.

A few weeks ago, we went to a homeshow and Saylor tried to take off running from us in one of the houses. She got away, but didn't get too far. She tripped running out a door, skidded across some cement head first into a patio chair. She screamed like crazy and was bleeding so we got her to the car before she got blood on anything. This is her showing her battle wounds, and also doing her "sad face." Whenever she gets her "feelings" hurt, she makes this face, slouches her shoulders, and walks off all hurt to her room. Who knows where she learned this but its quite the show she puts on almost everyday.

One day I found her like this. Do you think she has seen this one too many times?

Say showing off her muscles and showing how "tuff" she is. I took her in to get her 2 year shots in the middle of April. She cried for a few seconds, but I was really impressed with how well she handled them. She weighed 34 pounds and was in the 60th % for height and 90th% for weight. She is still a thick chunky monkey :)

Also in April my little brother Bud and his wife Audrey came over to Boise and we got to hang out with them a few times. Saylor and I went to the zoo with them (Zach was doing homework all day.)

This is as far in the tunnel as she would go, she was all scared for some reason, but she loved hanging out with Bud. He was letting her do all sorts of stuff that I wouldn't have and showing her all the fun things, she loved it. Her favorite thing to see were the penguins. She loved them and did not want to leave once we got to them.
Fun pics kerr! I love seeing all the different hairstyles of Say and I'm glad we got to see you guys the other weekend.
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for bringing our doggy gate to us! I really REALLY hated our other one...
This is Bud. I think the first comment I've ever left on one of these. Anyways I thought that pic of her bandaids was sweet and her on the toilet with her nappy hair and stuff reminds me of pictures of all our sisters back in the day.
ReplyDeleteI have been waiting for these results! I'm sad that you have to wait another month. but fun that you get more pictures!!
