St Patricks Day and Zach's big news!

On St Patricks Day, a leprechaun came to our house and made a big mess and footprints for Say to follow. She LOVED this, and couldn't get over it. She was running around and talking like crazy and saying how the leprechauns were so naughty and that she was mad to them. Here she is following the footprints through the house. Here she is at the end of the footprints with a little goodie bag that they left her with a little note asking her if she had seen their gold. Say and Casha on St Patty's Day. Casha turned 6 months old that day and had a Dr appointment. She weighed 16 lbs and is in the 60% for weight and the 50% for height. She takes 2 or 3 naps a day still and sleeps for about 12 hours every night. She is finally eating rice cereal, but only if I flavor it with some fruit first. I tried everyday for 2 months to get her to eat it and she wouldn't and then I added a little fruit in there and now she loves it. She has liked all of the foods I have given her except green beans so far. She can't stand those. She is still the cutest, sweetest baby ever and I can't get enough of her.

For the last year and a half, Zach has been working at a heating and air conditioning company, and also going to school for his Masters. This job was one of the biggest blessings we have ever had, but Zach has been SO sick of doing it. He has been looking for jobs that are in his field of study since he started school, but nothing ever worked out. He graduates in May with his Masters in Public Administration and he has been super stressed with not finding a job yet. But a few weeks ago he applied and got an interview with the Department of Health and Welfare, and..... he got the job! Wahoo! This was one of the greatest days of our marriage (for reals). The day Zach got the call was awesome, I haven't seen him that happy in a long time. His official title is Senior Research Analyst, and its in the Vital Statistics Department. We are both so excited for his new job, for school to be done, for the clean clothes he will have on when he gets home (okay so that is probably just me), for a normal work schedule, for the peace of mind, and for the happiness it has brought to us.

Ever since last summer at our family reunion, Saylor has wanted goggles. The other day we were at Kohls and she begged us for some, we caved in and got them for her. She is in love, and wears them every time she takes a bath now. This was her first day getting to wear them, and she was pretty excited.
