My posts are huge because I am trying to get caught up on my blog so it doesn't take me 3 hours to do an update each time, so if you care then keep scrolling down all the way through August because I finished out that month as well as September. So I am not sure why I took this pic, but I'm glad I did. Look how stinkin cute this girl is.
We found a fun park to go to around here and it is close to the river with walking paths along both sides of it. The time we came before this one Say was in heaven because we had went off of the paths and onto little trails through the trees. She kept calling it an adventure and kept telling us how much fun she was having. So this time we decided to bring Say's bike along. If we went one way we would be walking into the sun the whole time, so we chose the other way. It started out paved (for the 1st 100 yards), then turned to gravel. We went across a big bridge and we thought it would be paved a little ways down, so we kept going, if only we had known...
Little Missy did awesome on this little adventure and hung out like this the whole time.
The trail stayed gravel the whole way. It was probably a good mile and a half-two miles round trip. Zach saw this tree hanging out over the river and had to go out on it of course :)
Saylor did really good the whole way there, and when we got to the end of the trail (which we thought would loop us around onto the other side of the river onto the paved side) and had to turn around, she did not want to ride her bike in the gravel anymore. Her legs were getting so tired, she was working hard because of her training wheels and didn't want to go anymore. So this is how it looked most of the way back to the bridge.
Until Zach realized we had a strap hooked onto the running stroller just hanging there, then he was able to pull her along. We were ticked we didn't think of this sooner because Say had been complaining for quite awhile.
I should have put this picture first because this sign is what determined which way we started out on our adventure. When Say saw this sign she said we better go to the pigs, they are funner and nicer than the wolves (if you look at the sign there is a pic of a dog poopin and a pig on a bike). The pigs were facing the way we went, the wrong way to go. When we got back to this sign after our "walk" Say said, "next time Mom, we are going to the wolves, its way better." I agree with her, next time we will go to the wolves side of the river. It was still a fun adventure and I'm sure Say will remember it for a long time.
Saylor's first day of Preschool. Well its really Joy School, but we just say preschool. She was SO excited. She only has it on Tuesdays and Thursdays and she asks almost everyday if its a school day.
Say on her first day. She did pretty good, I was impressed with how well she did in fact. I don't think she is the best listener, but she is doing really well with her letters and colors and she loves going. Hopefully this will help her to be nicer to others and listen better, that's my hope for this year. I feel like she needs that right now more than anything else.
I'm not quite sure why I took this picture unless it was to show her drooling face and runny eyes. She got all sorts of teeth in during the month of September and always seemed to have some sort of waterworks going on and now she has 8 total teeth.
A lot of our time lately has been consumed with house hunting. The house we are renting right now is getting foreclosed on and goes to auction the 20th of October so we have been searching like crazy for a new house. We have yet to find one still.
We were outside some more since it started cooling down a little. Saylor asks me every single night while I am tucking her into bed what we are going to do when she wakes up. She wants to be going and doing something every second. Sometimes its torch and lots of times its fun :)
I rented a redbox for Say a few weeks ago so I could get some things done and there was a song on it where fairies come on and dance and sing. Saylor re watched it a million times and then had to get dressed up like them so she could dance with them. As you can see she was pretty serious about it. She was loving it and was trying very hard to learn the dance with them.
She wasn't posing for this picture, she was still dancing and I told her to look at me and smile and I got this. I love it.
Casha's birthday. I had to throw this one in so that it keeps up with the time line I have got going on.
At the end of September me and a bunch of my sisters headed down to St George for our Sister Fest. Not everyone could make it so that part was crappy but we still managed to have a dang good time. We shopped, ate like crazy, went to Zions to hike, did a craft, hung out and played games.
We had a blast. My niece Dres was able to come on this one and we had lots of fun with her.
We stayed at my sister Casey's house to help cut down on cost and I'm so glad we did. Her house was perfect for it and in a great location. This was our last morning right before we were getting ready to go back home.
Saylor was SO excited to start decorating for Halloween and getting all of the fall stuff out. I told her we had to clean and dust everything before we could get it all out and she was all over that. She started dusting like crazy and wiping down shelves. She is a great helper. She has asked every day since if we get to leave it up still. She keeps thinking we are going to have to take it all down really soon.
This week at preschool the theme was "farm" so they got to go to a produce farm owned by one of the girls grandma's in her class. They had this fun slide in the yard that the kids were loving. Saylor had no fear going down and kept doing it over and over.
In the barn they went on a scavenger hunt to find all the different fruits and vegetables that were on their papers.
They each got to pick a pumpkin and then they painted them. All the kids were loving this.
They all got to take a turn sitting on the tractor pretending to drive.
For their snack they each got to pick an apple to eat.
And they played follow the leader flying an airplane to each new activity they went too. Saylor really was in heaven, a yard to run around in, a huge slide, tractors, a tramp, food and friends. The only thing missing was the animals, she kept asking where they were :)

Thanks for posting Jean. Your girls are cute, especially Casha. I mean they're both dang cute, but Casha is looking cuter and cuter every picture that I see of her. I keep hoping some pics. of wreaths are going to magically appear, but so far, noth.
