The rest of August

We went to the fair here with our friends Givens and Taylors. The kids had a blast. It was stinkin hot, but still lots of fun. This was the first animal we saw up close and personal.
Saylor was so excited to go on the rides she could hardly handle herself. This girl isn't afraid of much. She wanted to ride every ride there, including the big ones for adults. She LOVED this roller coaster. She is on there with Presleigh, you just can't see her very well. They are in the 3rd car back.
Say wasn't afraid of feeding the animals in the petting zoo part either. She got right up to all of them and stuck her hand out for them to start eating.
I think she would be in heaven if she could live on a farm. She wants to be outside, doing dirty things and be around animals constantly.
Little Miss Casha was cute and looked like this about the whole time we were there. She was so good, she was just watching everything that was going on around her the whole time and hanging out.
Say would have ridden every single ride if we would have let her but we were with other people so that wasn't an option (and it could get costly to ride them as well) so this was the other ride she picked to go on. She loved this one just as much as the roller coaster.
We made it to the zoo one more time in August as well. Poor Presleigh was holding on for dear life since she was about to fall off.
Entering the safari part of the zoo they have this fun jeep. The kids loved pretending to drive it.
Saylor has really been into dressing up (especially in August) with or without her friends. I think this time they were getting ready to go to the ball.
We let Say bring in her trike for a few days and this is what was going on in my kitchen constantly. Saylor riding around and Casha walking/getting dragged along behind it. They both loved and hated it. Say would hate that she had to go slow all the time, but loved when Casha was laughing and pushing her (Casha wasn't walking on her own yet at the time) and Casha hated it because she wanted to have Saylor off of it so she could push it around on her own. Plus she kept getting dragged and ran over when Say would go to fast. After Casha crying too many times the trike went back outside, we couldn't take it anymore even though they were having lots of fun together.
One morning Say woke up, said she wanted to get dressed and then headed right out the front door. While she was getting dressed she asked me if Jesus was here? When I told her no, then she asked when he was coming. I asked her if she had a dream about Jesus and she said yes, then told me no she didn't. I then asked her if she had talked about it in her primary class the day before and she told me no to that too. It must have been a dream is the only thing I can figure out.
I followed her outside and asked her what she was doing. She told me she was looking for Jesus and his footprints (did you get the chills, because when she said this I did?) I asked her again if she had a dream about him and she just kept looking for him and telling me he was coming and then she would turn around and ask me if he was coming and when?  It was really cool and a little crazy, I won't lie.
This went on for a few minutes of her looking all over outside for him and then she told me maybe he had just gone around the block and would be here in a few minutes.  She came back inside and kept asking me over and over about every 15 minutes (all day long) when Jesus was going to be here. I tried and tried to explain to her that he wasn't coming today and that he is up in heaven with Heavenly Father and she just wasn't having it. She was certain that he was coming. She also went back outside about 5-6 more times that day to look for him. For the next few days she continued to ask me about Jesus and when he would be here, and then she slowly started talking less and less about it. She still mentions it about once or twice a week but not all day long now.  She also kept talking about it when she went over to her friends house and at pre school her teachers have told me she tells them about it. Whatever her dream was about, it must have been some powerful dream, I wish I could have seen it as well.
Say and Casha have started playing more and more together and I am loving it more and more, even if Casha does end up crying over everything and Say is usually being mean to her at one point or another, I still am loving it. It's so fun to watch them and see the relationship they are developing. I can tell they are going to fight with each other. Casha has learned a new thing that if she just cries to whatever she doesn't like that Say is doing then she will get her way and its becoming a problem :) They are still good friends though and I love it.
Our friends let us go swimming in their pool while they were on vacation and we went for family night one night. It turns out it wasn't as warm as we were thinking so we only stayed for a little bit, but we still had fun. Say loves swimming with Zach more than anything so she was in heaven.
And this Little Missy hung out with me on the side for most of the time because it was cold and then we got in for a few minutes.
She wasn't loving the cold water so we weren't in for too long.

My little sister Linz moved to Twin Falls and we went to help/see her and my parents and Bird. It was a quick little trip but still fun. I just went with the girls and my girls loved being around fam. Say is obsessed with my parents so she was in serious heaven. She got to play with Linz and Josh and Bird for a few hours until my parents showed up. Then she was at my Mom or Dad's side the rest of the time. She honestly mentions my parents at least 5 times a day. Lots of times when she get is in trouble she will yell back at us something like "well my Grandma is going to be mad to you, or my Grandma lets me" sweet stuff like that and most of the time they have nothing to do with the subject. She is obsessed. She still talks about when my Mom was here a year ago to help me when I had Casha and asks all the time when Grandma is coming back to visit her and sleep in her bed again. (My Mom has been here twice since Casha has been born, who knows why that is the time she talks about). I love it though and wished we could visit them and Zach's parents more often.
While we were there in Twin Casha took her first 3 steps. She did it a buch of different times (this was August 30th). When I tried to get a picture of her it never worked of course, but now she is walking like a champ :) Plus check out those thighs, they are some good ones.
Casha was having lots of fun playing on the floor with Say (even though it doesn't look like it in this pic).  They were rolling around all over the place and laughing like crazy. We loved watching them have fun together.
