Hanging out Outside

So we were hagning out in the driveway while the girls were riding their bikes and my feet were killing me so I was telling Zach how we need to get some patio furniture because we are out there almost every day and we have no where to sit. He proceeded to tell me that we didn't because who needs that when you have got this?  He busts out his seat from his car that has been sitting in the garage for him to sit on, and then he pulls out this extra office chair from the garage for me to sit on. Seriously?  I was dying and told him I didn't want to sit on that and that we looked like white trash. He laughed and proceeded to sit down and get comfy. Saylor of course thought this was great, so she runs and grabs her booster seat from the garage and brings it out and sits by Zach. Seriously?
I grabbed Casha and put her in the office chair so I could take a picture of my "white trash fam" and she didn't know what to think of it at first.
When the chair started to move she started freaking out. She was not a fan. Casha is funny because she loves to go fast and go for rides in the stroller, she jumps off of everything, but she doens't like to be thrown in the air and she definitely didn't like this chair moving or spinning.
When I got done taking these awesome pictures I decided to be the mean mom and started pushing Casha around in the driveway trying to get her to like going for rides, which didn't work, but our Bishop did drive up (and stopped to talk to us) and see me pushing my child around in an office chair in our driveway while she was crying, and Zach and Saylor are watching from their awesome "chairs" as well. Talk about embarassing. I kinda wanted to die, but what do you do? No worries though, we haven't busted out our great "chairs" since then, I was a little to embarassed after the Bishop saw us.

Saylor decided she wanted to eat her lunch out on her picnic table and Zach saw her out there and went to join her. He didn't fit to well at the table, but he was being a good Dad and I loved seeing him out there eating with her.  Do you think we need some patio furniture?

  1. That looks fun. I don't feel too bad about your patio furniture situation. At least you have a driveway and hey grass. Live it up Jean, live it up!
